The MPD Fifth District Citizens’ Advisory Council, Inc. (5DCAC) is a non-profit group established in partnership with the Fifth District Police Headquarters and DC Metropolitan Police Department (DCMPD).  The purpose of 5DCAC is to enable citizens to assist in and to make less hazardous the task of reducing crime and promoting public safety, and to function in an advisory capacity to the Fifth District Commander and to the MPD Chief of Police.
