Crime Prevention/Neighborhood Watch Training on Zoom
If you would like to learn ways to reduce your likelihood of becoming a crime victim and also learn how to begin a Neighborhood Watch Program on your block, please attend the free, 90 minute Crime Prevention/Neighborhood Watch Training held on November 12, 2020 at 7:00 pm on Zoom.
Crimes of Opportunity make up about 80% of all crime in DC. By eliminating these preventable crimes, MPD can concentrate their efforts on the more violent crime happening in our neighborhoods. We all can help reduce crime by learning the behaviors that contribute to being a crime victim.
Actual crime scenes will be shown, so this is not a program suitable for young children. If you would like to attend this training, please send an email to me with your name and police district. If you don’t know your police district, go to MPDC.dc.gov and click on Find District. Type in your address. It will show you your District and your PSA (Police Service Area). I will send you the Zoom link to the training when I receive your email request. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
I look forward to seeing you at the training.
